Songs

A loud, fast-paced warble with 10–12 notes delivered in less than 2 seconds. Also delivers a long, complex jumble of quiet, rapidly delivered songs, calls, and mimicry. Male sings from conspicuous perches and also while foraging with female mate.

Calls

Calls include musical whistles with 2–4 notes that rise and fall. Juvenile gives a loud, descending chip frequently while following a parent and learning how to forage.
