2026 Barred Owlet Names Revealed After Vote
May 6, 2026The votes are in, and we have names! Nearly 3,300 viewers cast their ballots to help name the 2026 Barred Owl Cam owlets. Meet Artemis and Apollo, our newly named duo. Check out the full voting breakdown below.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined in the fun, and to our partners at Wild Birds Unlimited (WBU) for suggesting the winning names.
We can’t wait to watch Artemis and Apollo grow through the rest of the nestling period and take their first steps beyond the nest box and into their woodland territory in the weeks ahead.
