World Migratory Bird Day at Le Nichoir

Join us to celebrate Le Nichoir’s Migratory bird day at Le Nichoir Wild Bird Rehabilitation Centre. Visit the installations where 2,500 birds are rehabilitated each year. This family-friendly and free event aims to raise public awareness about the conservation of migratory birds. We offer various activities, such as an open house, educational activities, and guided birdwatching walks! 

Bird and insect observation walks in the Clarke-Sydenham Reserve will be led by local ornithology groups and naturalists. There will be children’s activities, such as a nature treasure hunt, face painting, and arts and crafts with a local artist. Interactive educational activities for the whole family will be displayed throughout the centre. Enjoy a nice cup of bird-friendly coffee while browsing through our used bird-themed book sale.
