World Migratory Bird Day at Le Nichoir

Join us to celebrate Le Nichoir’s Migratory bird day event on May 4, 2024, from 10am to 2pm. For this special day, Le Nichoir Wild Bird Rehabilitation Centre is opening its doors! This will be a unique opportunity to visit the facilities where 2,500 wild birds are rehabilitated each year.

Bird and insect observation walks in the Clarke-Sydenham Reserve will be led by local ornithology groups and naturalists. There will be children’s activities, such as a nature treasure hunt, face painting, and arts and crafts with a local artist. Interactive educational activities for the whole family will be displayed throughout the centre. Enjoy a nice cup of bird-friendly coffee while browsing through our used bird-themed book sale.
