Toronto Bird Celebration

May 11, 2024 @ 8:00 am May 25, 2024 @ 5:00 pm

The Toronto Bird Celebration, coordinated by Birds Canada, is a festival that connects participants with urban nature experiences during the peak of spring migration.

Returning participants will be excited to see familiar favorites like Swift Night Out and the Urban Bit Sit return for 2024. New participants are in for a treat with a plethora of expert-guided walks in some of Toronto’s best parks, informative webinars about at-home conservation tools, art-based science education, and much more!

Whether you’re a budding birder or a seasoned aficionado, our diverse lineup ensures an enriching experience tailored just for you. Come soar with us this spring and revel in #TOBirdParty as our feathered friends return to the Greater Toronto Area.

Our events calendar can be found at www.torontobirdcelebration.ca. The festival is made up of various events at in-person locations across the Greater Toronto Area and online.

The Toronto Bird Celebration is delivered in partnership with: Toronto Ornithological Club, City of Toronto, Parks Canada, Royal Ontario Museum, Bird Friendly Cities Toronto, Quest Nature Tours, Brampton Public Library, Toronto Public Library, and more! The festival would not be possible without the generous support of TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, Kowa Optics, and Birds Canada.
