Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory Spring Birding Festival – Save The Date!

Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory is located in the Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area in Ontario along the northeast shore of Lake Ontario. This area is recognized for its diversity of habitats and spectacular number of migratory passerine birds. Large numbers of dirunal and nocturnal raptors also pass through the area during spring and fall migration. The Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory was established as a Canadian Migration Monitoring Network station in 1995 to study, monitor, and report on the migration, breeding patterns and ecosystems of birds throughout Prince Edward County.
