Plumas Audubon’s Grebe Festival
August 9, 2024 @ 9:00 am – August 11, 2024 @ 3:00 pm
Enjoy a kayak trip to see nesting grebes or hike a wooded path with an expert to see the area’s bird life. These are just some of the kinds of outings being offered for participants to learn about nature and wildllife and to enjoy the outdoors. The festival will also include the Grebe Symposium, live music, and vendor tables.
The central meeting place for the Grebe Festival is the Olsen Barn, a Plumas County Historic Landmark located in a scenic 107-acre preserve in the Feather River Land Trust.
Although festival participation is free, due to limited capacity, registration is required. $20 suggested donation.
Sponsored by Plumas Audubon Society, Outdoor Recreation Leadership, Feather River Land Trust, and the Kure-Stuyvesant Trustee Council.
