September 15, 2023 @ 9:00 am September 16, 2023 @ 3:00 pm

The annual Hummingbird Migration and Nature Festival celebrates the fall migration of these tiny flyers as they travel to wintering grounds south of the Gulf of Mexico.  Throughout the event, guests are immersed into all aspects of migration and the science behind banding and monitoring migration patterns.  Other exhibits will also be on site to share information regarding conservation awareness and environmental stewardship.  Storyteller Brian Fox Ellis will spin his tales as John James Audubon and raptors from the Freedom Ranch will be on display for all to see.  Local vendors will have locally made crafts, pottery, jellies, clothing and other items as well.
