Georgia Bird Fest
April 10, 2026 – May 10, 2026
As Georgia’s largest bird and nature festival, Georgia Bird Fest features a month of activities, including guided field trips to Georgia’s best birding hotspots, nature-based workshops, and guest speakers. We are also hosting our third Bird Fest Summit on April 26, with breakout sessions and keynote speakers, hosted in Atlanta, Georgia, Atlanta Botanical Gardens (1345 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30309). Events are tailored to all levels of bird, nature, and outdoor enthusiasts—there’s something for everyone at Georgia Bird Fest!
Some of the event highlights include a behind-the-scenes tour of Zoo Atlanta’s bird collection; beginning and advanced nature photography workshops; a Shorebird Weekend on the Georgia coast; a Warbler Weekend in North Georgia; a trip to Phinizy Swamp near Augusta; and an overnight stay at the Len Foote Hike Inn in Dawsonville.
Registration opens in March. For more information or to view a full schedule of events, please visit https://www.birdsgeorgia.org/birdfest.html.
