Cam-inspired Creations Fill The Bird Cams Community Art Book

View artistic creations shared by members of the Cornell Lab Bird Cams community.

We asked the Cornell Lab Bird Cams community to share their cam-inspired artwork so we could build an online art book based on the birds they love. Artists delivered, sharing their gorgeous works and allowing everyone to share their joy for the birds of the Cornell Lab Bird Cams. There were so many submissions, we couldn’t possibly display all of them here in this single art book page!

Please enjoy this selection of works from our community members, celebrating Cornell Lab Bird cams both past and present. These artistic expressions are organized into seven themes: Beloved Raptors, Life By The Water, Tropical Treasures, Boreal Beauties, Familiar Feeder Birds, Owls Abound, and Hover And Hum.

Thanks to everyone who shared their creations. We’re so grateful to be part of a talented community with an inspiring love of birds.

Beloved Raptors shines a spotlight on the raptor families that we’ve come to cherish over the years on our Red-tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, and Osprey Cams.

Life By The Water

Life By The Water features lovable seabirds from our Northern Royal Albatross Cam, Bermuda Petrel Cam, and Laysan Albatross Cam. An old fan favorite from the Great Blue Heron Cam also makes an appearance.

Tropical Treasures

Tropical Treasures is a colorful collection depicting the birds that frequent the Panama Fruit Feeder Cam at the Canopy Lodge.

Boreal Beauties

Boreal Beauties highlights the birds of Canada’s boreal forest that visit the Ontario FeederWatch Cam hosted by Ben and Tammie Haché at their backyard feeders in Manitouwadge, Ontario.

Familiar Feeder Friends

These Familiar Feeder Friends can be found frequenting feeders across much of North America. Many are daily visitors at the Cornell Lab FeederWatch Cam in Ithaca, New York.

Owls Abound

Who doesn’t love owls? Enjoy these creations inspired by the owls that have nested over the years on our Wild Birds Unlimited Barred Owl Cam, Savannah Great Horned Owl Cam, and Texas Barn Owl Cam.

Hover and Hum

The bejeweled buzzers from the West Texas Hummingbird Cam inspired artists versed in various mediums to share their work with the community.
