The\u00a035th\u00a0festival will take place\u00a0April 18\u201326, 2026! Established in 1991, the festival promotes the diversity of birds in the\u00a0Baie de Somme<\/a>\u00a0(now ranked among the most beautiful bays in the world, 10th \u201cGrand site de France\u201d and \u201cRegional natural park\u201d) and the area\u2019s environmental richness. For more than 30 years, the festival has become an unmissable event in the\u00a0Baie de Somme.\u00a0During spring, the best time for birdwatching, the festival offers\u00a09 days of immersion in nature\u00a0for the whole family, and has become\u00a0t<\/strong>he largest nature festival in France. In addition to photography and animal art exhibitions, screening of documentaries of an environmental nature, hands-on and educational activities for young and older children, the festival offers more than 400 guided nature outings\u2014on horseback, foot, kayak\/canoe\/boat, bicycle, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open to professionals and amateurs, photo<\/a> and film<\/a> competitions call for entries in September ending November 30, 2025, for photos and November 12, 2025 for film. Birds are the theme for the photo contest, and films focus on birds, wildlife, and environment from all over the world. The best works are shortlisted for outdoor and indoor exhibitions as well as public screenings during the April festival in several towns of the Bay of Somme area. Many artists are present at the various exhibitions. Photographers, painters, and sculptors, both professional and amateur, reveal the beauty and fragility of biodiversity through their works.
