Rimouski Bird Festival

Inaugurated in 2019, the Rimouski Bird Festival celebrates the region’s rich birdlife by offering a variety of activities accessible to all. Over six days, the festival highlights exceptional birdwatching sites and allows bird enthusiasts, families, and the curious to discover a great diversity of species and habitats.

Organized in collaboration with experts and local organizations, the festival provides an immersive experience that combines observation, learning, and enjoyment while emphasizing the importance of nature and conservation. Events include birdwatching cruises, quizzes for all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced), a fundraising dinner, visits to our exceptional birdwatching and banding sites, documentary film screenings, guided birding outings, a photo contest, and more!
