Since 2010 Austria’s birdiest Nationalpark Neusiedler See – Seewinkel hosts the Pannonian BirdExperience annually in April with lectures, workshops, field trips, and evening talks.
The three-day Exhibitor’s Fair (trade show) will be held in the National Park in Illmitz with birdwatching optics and cameras, including accessories, functional clothing, nature tours, books, Nature Reserves, and National Parks, as well as bird- and nature-conservation organizations.
There will be several excursions each day into the National Park and adjacent areas, as far as Hungary and Slovakia. There will be workshops on nature photography techniques by professional photographers, for both beginners and advanced students. Finally you can finish the day on a high note with a pleasant and informative evening event (“Abends im Wirtshaus”)!
