This program features focused birding trips lead by professional guide Bryan Calk and educational presentations by AgriLife Extension faculty. In 2022 Learn to Bird will be hosted at Long Acres Ranch in Fort Bend County, just outside Richmond. Long Acres Ranch is a privately owned venue spanning 768 acres in Fort Bend County, Texas, with 2.5 miles of undeveloped land along the Brazos River. Long Acres Ranch provides an opportunity for children and adults to experience the benefits of nature through outdoor education and recreation. Nestled among sprawling urban growth and master-planned neighborhoods, the Ranch is a treasure for generations to come. - Space is limited! Learn to Bird is capped at 15 participants. At least 10 participants must register for the program to be held.
