May 11, 2023 May 14, 2023

The Indiana Dunes Birding Festival occurs along the shores of Lake Michigan to celebrate the area’s rich biodiversity and bird-watching opportunities within the Indiana Dunes National Park. Activities include over 150 guided carpool tours to view migrating birds, presentations, workshops, live birds of prey, and more. The festival also includes a vendor marketplace, evening excursions and social events, and art exhibition.  The Saturday keynote presentation will feature 2023 speaker, Jennifer Ackerman.  General early-bird registration begins in early March.
