Herricks Cove Wildlife Festival

The Herrick’s Cove Wlldlife Festival is a family-friendly educational environmental event, held each year. Celebrate the wonders of wildlife through live animal programs; bird and nature walks, presentations, exhibits, and activities and crafts for children.

Demonstrations from participating organizations, such as Vermont Fish & Wildlife, Southern Vermont Natural History Museum, Wildlife Encounters, Nature Museum, Black River Action Team, Ascutney Mountain Audubon Society, New Hampshire Audubon Society, Audubon Vermont, Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation, Vermont Center for EcoStudies, Rich Earth Institute, USDA National Resources Conservation Services, USDA National Resources Conservation Service, Windham County Natural Resources Conservation District, Connecticut River Conservancy, HB Energy (solar power), Putney Mountain Association.

Herricks Cove is located off Exit 6 of I-91. Take 103 east to Rt. 5 north. After crossing the Williams River, turn right on the Herricks Cove Road.  

Suggested donation at entrance: $2 per person or $5 per family.
