Hawk Ridge 50th Anniversary & Hawk Weekend Festival

September 22 - September 25

Fifty years of raptor research and education! Hawk Ridge Nature Reserve was established in 1972, which was also the first year of the formal, standardized raptor count and raptor banding research.

We hope you can join us, as we kick off the event the evening of Thursday, 9/22/22, at the beautiful Greysolon Ballroom for a grand celebration of the past, present, and future of Hawk Ridge! Our annual Hawk Weekend Festival, held by the Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory in Duluth, Minnesota, features a great line up of workshops, speakers, field trips, hikes, programs, and special events for all ages.

Hawk Weekend Festival will showcase one of North America’s best places to experience the fall bird migration at Hawk Ridge Nature Reserve.

Registration required at www.hawkridge.org.
