Eagle Expo and More

February 13 - February 15


Eagle Expo includes boat tours into various waterways to view eagles, Birds of Prey program, presentations, speakers, fellowship, photography workshop with CC Lockwood, and Water & Nature Expo. The keynote is Mary Beth Lima, who will discuss her book Adventures of a Louisiana Birder: 1 Year, 2 Wings, 300 Species. Dr. Erik Johnson, Director of Bird Conservation for Audubon Louisiana, says of this book, “A story of the healing power of birds in the face of life’s great challenges. It also reminds us why birds matter and how a life of bird-watching can provide balance, perspective, and new challenges when things get tough.”
