Eagle Days

January 18, 2025 January 19, 2025

January has proven to be one of the best times of the year for viewing live eagles and other waterfowl along the Wyandotte County Lake Park, providing the perfect opportunity to learn about these majestic birds. There will be live birds of prey, including a Bald Eagle, crafts for kids, birdwatching on the lake, binocular checkout, activity stations on the trail, tons of photo ops, and much more! The 23rd Annual Eagle Days has something for everyone, so bring the entire family.

The event will take place simultaneously at two locations at Wyandotte County Lake: the Mrs. & Mrs. FL Schlagle Library and James P. Davis HallOperation Wildlife will be offering three 15-minute talks on the hour at Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library and James P. Davis Hall.  There will be two live birds at the library and 10–12 birds at James P Davis Hall.

Saturday, 1/18/25: 9 am to 5 pm
Sunday, 1/19/24: 12 pm to 4 pm
