Birds On the Niagara International Bird Festival: A Winter Celebration

February 10 - February 12

Join us for a Valentine’s week celebration when many of Niagara’s bird species are in breeding plumage and are exhibiting courtship behavior. Waterfowl (including Tundra Swans, ducks), up to 19 species of gulls (including rare and unusual species), Snowy Owls, and other irruptive species use this Niagara River Corridor Globally Significant Important Bird Area as winter habitat. Birding on the Niagara River is as good as winter birding gets!

Join us for a variety of virtual presentations and in person tours on topics, including Birds, Conservation Strategies, and Social Justice concerns.

We have programs for birders and conservation enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels.

Registration is required. All Virtual Programs are free and open. Some in-person tours require registration and small fees.
