Birdiest Festival in America

April 21 - April 25

Corpus Christi’s BIRDIEST FESTIVAL IN AMERICA has earned its wings, bringing birders of all levels to the Texas Gulf Coast to experience amazing spring migration in perhaps the busiest flyway in the country! Based at South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center, the 2020 festival (before cancellation) had doubled its 2019 registration!

Now larger and longer, 2021 features 14 different field trips to famous South Texas ranch and coastal hot spots!  Eight different presentations and workshops; three bird walks; and nine Jonathan Wood “Raptor Project” shows also are offered.

An opening reception with Happy Hour cash bar and Texas BBQ dinner; Vendor Trade Show; artisan booths; and Saturday Family Fun Day round out your Texas Coastal adventure—plus a brand new four-day RIO GRANDE VALLEY pre-trip, April 17–20, limited to eight participants!  Basic Festival registration is $25.

Experience friendly Texan hospitality; excellent menus of hotels, shopping and restaurants; our sister attractions like the Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington on the Bay, and museums; and of course—our beaches and charming coastal towns!
