Annual Eagles & Agriculture

January 26, 2023 - January 29, 2023

This event looks at the phenomenon of bald and golden eagles stopping in Carson Valley, Nevada, during their winter migration to the north. With local cattle ranches birthing calves at the same time, this provides an unusual opportunity to view and photograph the raptors, who feed on the afterbirth. Programs include a variety of birding tours, a photographers’ reception with falconers and their birds, a photo workshop, and Falconers Dinner.
