American Ornithological Society Annual Meeting

August 11, 2025 August 15, 2025

The 143rd annual meeting of the American Ornithological Society (AOS) will be held 11–15 August 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. The theme is “Avian Gateways: Connecting Ornithology and Conservation.”

Following our long legacy of vibrant annual meetings, the 2025 meeting will once again offer a great opportunity for sharing and discussing scientific research in all areas involving birds.

We envision a broad discussion of research that spans the breadth of modern ornithology through plenaries, symposia, workshops, roundtable discussions, contributed papers, and posters. In addition to these exciting presentations, we will have a variety of exhibitors from the commercial, nonprofit, and government sectors. We will also host a series of daily, fun networking events and outings for you to make new connections and reconnect with colleagues!
