AMC Maine Woods Birding Festival

  • This event has passed.

June 15, 2023 June 18, 2023

Scheduled around the active birding season for an optimal experience, the festival will provide numerous opportunities for guests to learn more about birds and their habitat and strengthen their appreciation of the ways in which they can make an impact on bird wellbeing. What better place to showcase birds than the largest contiguous undeveloped forest in the eastern United States and the heart of a globally protected watershed here on the AMC’s 100,000-acre North Maine woods? Music, art, food, birding tours, and expert presentations will play an important role in filling out the week. Bird themed of course!

No additional equipment required. Programs and tours will be provided at no additional cost to guests staying overnight at the lodge. To make reservations to attend the event.
