Antali hasn’t fledged yet, but the youngest chick from the Hellgate Osprey nest is gaining vital skills—like self-feeding—that will aid in its long path towards independence. Watch the nestling take charge of mealtime by grabbing a fish that’s secured in Iris’s talons. After a few awkward attempts, the chick finally begins tearing away small bites. After the meat of the fish is packed way, the young Osprey finishes the tail in one big gulp.
