About the Photographer
In the early 1980s, I picked up a Nikon SLR camera system for a Photography School project. The love and pursuit of the art of photography began and continued until this day.
About two years ago, I started bird photography by chance, with some indirect help from my wife. One day when we were strolling on the beach, Hanh brought a camera and took a few snaps of the shorebirds, with a passion. Seeing those images got me hooked on birds for good. As I learned more about the different bird species, their behavior and habitats, I was drawn closer and closer to nature.
My training in film photography and computer technology has helped lessen the learning curve needed to make the transition into digital. Being in nature has offered many unique opportunities to witness the wonders of wildlife. My goal is to use my skills and experience to capture those moments for all to see.
